Colour therapy; Each colour produced through a light prism has its own wavelength, similarly each colour has its own healing strength and properties. Colour therapy works on the principle of harmony, if one colour is removed the sequence can’t exist harmoniously in the state we know it, and expect it to be. The shades of colour can help identify excessive or low levels of colour, allowing the correct selection of complimentary colour to cancel out the excessive or the appropriate focus colour to increase levels as needed. As a machine requires all its cogs to be in full working order, to operate at its full potential, so to do we as humans require a balance of colour, to help ensure balance and efficiency with in our own lives. Treatment It is quite normal for therapists to work with the 7 main Chakra colours, though there may be occasions where they chose to implement tertiary colours to obtain the most balanced of results. Colour is absorbed through the eyes and skin as well as magnetic energy fields. Colour therapy can be administered in a number of ways: be it via light boxes, colour filters, silks, solarized water or Colour meditation. I chose to use colour meditation as my main form of treatment. Many years ago, as a newly qualified Beauty and Aromatherapist, I began exploring different healing techniques, even experimented with my own theories of how to offer healing. The guided meditative technique I use originated in those days of experimentation, backed up by knowledge gained both from obtaining Colour therapy and Meditation diplomas. I find my techniques offered clients a greater sense of support throughout the treatment as well as obtaining fantastic results. Most treatments take between 25 and 50 minutes, additional time is allowed to ensure the fullest possible treatment is available to you.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit of £10 is required at least 5 days prior to treatments. This is refundable on cancellations or curtailment where notice greater than 24 hours prior to scheduled appointment is given.
